Ning Zhang has set up an e-mail list for us.  Please send us files with your picture and a synopsis of your work, so we will all know one another --or just give us the URL for your web site and we'll link it.

We hope you'll participate!  Contact Ning with any questions. Once you have registered for the e-mail group, you can get there from here.

From Ning Zhang: I think the following topics could be discussed by emails, because they might be easier to get consensus on-line than other items.

Beginning a discussion of tools:
Provide a short discussion of yor work (two paragraphs will do).  Please include the following in your discussion:

What taxa do you study?
What "tools" do you use?
What is the justification for use of the tools in your own work?
Make comments on the appropriateness of tools for the taxa you study.

What are the best methods for generating data?
What data analysis mehtods do you use?
Send messages for the discussion to nzhang@unix1.sncc.lsu.edu
