questions in Aspergillus fumigatus. She did her Ph.D. with
Joey Spatafora on "Lichens, Earth Tongues, and Endophytes: Evolutionary
Patterns Inferred from Phylogenetic Analyses of Multiple Loci".

Sharon Mozley is a Ph.D.
student in David Porter's lab at the University of Georgia. Her research
involves a specific clade of chytrids within the Chytridiomycetes called
the Nowakowskiella clade. By combining both molecular and morphological
characters, she hopes to hammer out a more well-defined phylogeny for the
clade. Part of this will be to determine the generic limits of the genera
within the clade that will in turn be used to create a key to genera. This
work is a part of a larger chytrid
PEET grant, the main goal of which is to update the monograph by Frederick
K. Sparrow (1980). You can check out her personal page by clicking
